“I think of the furnishings at the same time as I conceive the space”
- Vincent Van Duysen, named new creative director for Molteni&C.
The stand is inspired by a spacious home, where living rooms communicate with dining rooms.
Prominent features in the space are the large glasshouses, inspired by 19th century orangeries, winter gardens where floral installations and sculptural-style furnishings coexist. Transparency is created by the large glass walls.
Natural and sophisticated materials, such as glass, oxidized wood and raw metal, the
chiaroscuro of the sand and the warm grays alternate with luminous touches of green,
defining the spaces dominated by the large living area.
